My name is Micalle Carl, and I am Doctoral student at CUNY Graduate Center, Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences Program.

My research interests include motor speech disorders, the relationship between articulation and acoustics, and speech intelligibility.  In particular, I am interested in studying the articulatory characteristics and associated intelligibility of speech in individuals with Down Syndrome.

I am also a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, and treat speech and language disorders in children with developmental disabilities.
